The Golden City

Well this is too spectacular to not share…

Two years ago, I came upon something new in the realm of spiritual discovery – the Oneness movement being led by Sri Amma and Bhagwan.

Sri Amma and Sri Bhagwan are a couple, two Avatars living in Chennai, South India. When Sri Bhagwan was only three years old, he is said to have had mystical powers. As a child, he would constantly get a vision of a ‘golden ball’ and though he didn’t understand what it was, he was unable to push the thought of it away. The more he would think of this golden ball, the more charge it would get.

Growing up, Sri Bhagwan became conscious of his own powers, and realized his purpose on earth was to help uplift the consciousness of humanity. He states one of his missions, as wanting to enlighten at least 64,000 people in this lifetime.

Years later, when Sri Bhagwan became the principal of a school, they discovered that the students in his school also developed mystical powers. For example, conscious astral traveling, akin to being present in two places at once. Scared of these powers, many concerned parents withdrew their children from Sri Bhagawan’s school, and realizing that perhaps humanity was not ready for miracles at this level, Sri Bhagwan held back the grace, and slowed down its pace.

People who heard of their abilities still went to see Sri Amma Bhagwan, and received miracles in turn, where problems concerning health, relationships and even finances were inexplicably solved overnight, astounding even the most confident doctors and skeptics in some cases.

One of the missions of Sri Amma Bhagwan in recent years has been to build a temple, according to the principles of ‘Vastu’ (Hindu Feng Shui), creating strong positive energy, and where at any given point, 8,000 people will be in a deep meditative state. They say the constant collective energy will uplift the consciousness of humanity in a big way, and change the course of its direction. Welcome to the Golden era!

Recently, the powerfully charged thought of the ‘golden ball’ has manifested into reality. Whenever and wherever people convene for a ‘satsang’ or to give ‘diksha’ (transferring grace), they have seen translucent golden balls descend. This is not visible to the naked eye, it can only be seen through photographs. Though still a phenomenon that is not completely understood, it is more than good evidence of the powerful grace that flows from these divine beings.

Just last week, the Golden Temple was inaugurated, and I was one of the fortunate people to be a part of that. Over 1 million people were arriving from all over the globe for the opening; therefore, a full week had been scheduled for it. With support from the government and security, organizers were equipped to handle a crowd of 150,000 people a day. Things didn’t go quite as planned though, and an unexpected number of 500,000 people showed up on the first day.

Luckily, our ‘Darshan’ (visit) was scheduled as one of the first that morning, and by the time we made it in, I managed to get right up front, against the barricades, where I had very clear view of Sri Amma and Bhagawan. (Ahead of me, were seated the architects of the temple, and a few prominent names, including Hollywood actress Meg Ryan). We later heard that soon after our Dharshan, there had been a stampede, and many people had been turned away for the sake of their own safety.

The following day, we were blessed to be able to visit Sri Amma and Bhagwan once again, in their ashram at ‘Neemam’, where there are many spiritual courses held throughout the year, and where there is strong presence of divine grace. The photos here are of the Golden temple, and of the ‘golden balls’ descending, while waiting in line for our second Dharshan with Sri Amma Bhagwan… don’t some of these pictures look like the Galaxy?!
